A picture is worth a thousand words
Over time, we accumulate lots of photos – early life, birthdays, children, school, graduations, holidays, parties, work, ancestors and family photos.
In the digital era, this is particularly true because we live in a photo culture and can take and upload them instantly. We store hundreds of photos on our phones, in contrast to the time of camera photos, polaroids and slides.
Despite these advancements, it is still very satisfying to look at photos in an album or photo book as compared to swiping through them on a phone. Perhaps this is because photo albums, being permanent, hold more value, than the instant gratification of digital accessibility.
If you have piles of photos or other ephemera and would like help to organise them, I can assist to:
convert slides into digital and/or printed photos;
convert printed photos into digital images;
sort all your photos into a timeline and story with informative captions;
help you select which photos to include in your album;
present your photos in photo albums or photo books;
present your photo albums as gifts with engraving options, custom boxes, cotton gloves and other packaging;
produce duplicate copies of albums or photobooks for children and grandchildren;
provide archival solutions to make your photos last for generations.
The above tasks require meetings with you to sort and obtain information about the photo contents; and discussion about presentation options.
Going back in time whilst reviewing old photos can be very rewarding too.
